What data Dark Abishai Channel collects on the website and in the mobile app, why, how we protect it and how you can control it.

This policy describes the current data-processing practices of dark-abishai.ru and of the Dark Abishai Android app. We collect the minimum data needed to run accounts and the service, do not use third-party advertising trackers, and enable the visitor counter only with your consent, do not store bank card details and do not sell your data. Core data is hosted on servers located in Russia.

This policy also covers the Dark Abishai Android app: the account, the data collected and your rights there are the same as on the website.
Without an account we collect only the technical minimum needed for the site and the app to work.
The only analytics is the Yandex.Metrica counter, and it starts only after your consent. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
We do not store bank card details — they are handled by the payment provider when one is connected.
You control notifications, watch history, profile visibility and sessions in your account settings.
You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time.
The personal-data operator is Rodion Petrovich Averyanov (Аверьянов Родион Петрович), an individual applying the «Professional Income Tax» special tax regime (self-employed), INN 781425547803, owner of the Dark Abishai Channel website (dark-abishai.ru) and publisher of the Dark Abishai Android app. The admin. and media. subdomains are internal and available to staff only.

We want the boundaries to be clear. We deliberately avoid a whole range of tracking technologies.
The only third-party analytics connected is the Yandex.Metrica counter, and only after your consent. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and the like are not connected.
No session recording, heatmaps, mouse-movement tracking or cross-site tracking.
No login via third-party accounts (Google/VK/Yandex), so profiles from those services are not collected.
We do not determine your geographic location from your IP address.
We do not store bank card details and do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
The Dark Abishai Android app is the same service and the same account as the website, and this policy covers it in full. Below is how data handling in the app differs from the website.
The app sends our server the same data the website does: username, email and password on registration and login; name and avatar if you provided them; playback position and history; library, collections, likes and subscriptions; comments; wallet balance and purchases.
The only thing sent without an action on your part is the playback position — it powers «Continue watching». You can view and clear your history in the History section.
Consent to personal-data processing is requested during registration, and this policy and the terms of use open directly from the registration screen — before an account is created.
The app collects no advertising ID and no IMEI. To deliver push notifications it asks the RuStore app on your phone for a device identifier — it exists so that a notification reaches this particular phone, and it is not tied to your name or email. The app contains no advertising SDKs; the RuStore SDK reports anonymous delivery statistics to the developer.
The app requests no permissions that grant access to personal data on your device: all of them are technical — network, foreground services, notifications and start-after-reboot, which the notification delivery service requires. Location, contacts, camera and file access are not among them.
The notifications permission is used for episode download progress, player controls on the lock screen and push notifications about new episodes and replies to your comments. Push is sent only to signed-in users and can be turned off in the profile notification settings; the permission itself can be revoked in Android system settings at any time.
The avatar is picked through the system file picker: the app gets access only to the single file you point at and needs no storage permission.
What stays on the device: login tokens (in Android encrypted storage), episodes downloaded for offline viewing, and the cache. The cache is cleared under «Settings → Clear cache», signing out erases the tokens, and uninstalling the app removes everything.
Crash reports are stored on the device only and contain the build version, phone model, Android version and the location of the error. They are never sent automatically: a report leaves the device only if you tap «Send crash report» and choose where to send it.
Payment opens the payment provider page in an external browser — card details never reach the app.
The app is distributed through RuStore. The store keeps its own record of installs and updates under its own rules; we do not control that data.
Cookies are needed for login and attack protection. Separately, there are analytics cookies: they are set by the Yandex.Metrica counter and only after your consent.
The security cookie da_csp_n holds a random value the site marks its own scripts with: the browser runs only those, not injected foreign code. It contains nothing about you and is deleted when the browser closes.
A session cookie keeps you logged in; a CSRF cookie protects forms against request forgery.
Cookies work across all subdomains (.dark-abishai.ru) so login works on the main site, admin and media areas.
A trusted-device cookie lets you skip re-entering the 2FA code for 30 days.
During a session we temporarily store the IP and browser details — only to warn you about a login from a new device.
You can disable cookies in your browser, but then login and trusted devices will not work.
Analytics cookies are set by the Yandex.Metrica counter — only if you pressed "Accept all" or enabled the "Statistics" toggle. Until you consent the counter script is not loaded, so not a single request reaches Yandex.Metrica.
The site runs a Yandex.Metrica counter. Here is what that means and how to turn it off.
The counter measures traffic: how many people arrived, from which pages and addresses, which pages they opened and how long they stayed.
The counter is operated by Yandex LLC. It receives depersonalised data: IP address, browser and device details, the page address and the referring address. We pass it no name, no email and no viewing history.
The counter is not loaded at all until you consent: the Yandex.Metrica script is requested only after you press "Accept all" or enable the "Statistics" toggle.
Declining ("Necessary only") means not a single request reaches Yandex.Metrica. You can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.
Visitors with JavaScript disabled are not counted at all: we do not place the usual <noscript> tracking pixel, because it would fire before any consent.
Below the player you can leave an email address to get a message whenever a new video comes out: a walkthrough episode, a Mega Man episode or a gameplay video. No account is needed.
What we keep: the email address, the subscription date and the IP address it was made from, the page with the form, and the confirmation date. Nothing else — no name, no viewing history.
The subscription takes effect only after you follow the link in the confirmation email, so nobody can subscribe someone else's address. An unconfirmed address is deleted after 7 days.
We write only about new episodes and no more often than they come out. The emails carry no advertising, and the address is shared with no one except the email delivery service (Unisender Go).
You can unsubscribe via the link in every email or the «Unsubscribe» button in your mail client. Unsubscribing deletes the address from our database entirely.
The legal basis is your consent, given by pressing «Subscribe» and confirming the address. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
We use a limited set of partners — only for specific tasks and in the minimum necessary scope.
Email provider (Unisender Go): receives your email and message text to deliver notifications and digests; you can unsubscribe via the link in each email. Servers are in Russia.
Cloud storage and CDN (VK Cloud, Gcore): store and quickly deliver static files, media and video; the IP address and browser type are passed for delivery. Video is served via signed links with a limited lifetime.
YouTube: if an episode is available on YouTube it is embedded via the standard youtube.com player; while watching, Google may collect data per its own policy.
Yandex SmartCaptcha: on registration and password reset it verifies you are human; for this the IP and browser details are passed.
Telegram: used only for internal administrator notifications about security events — an operator channel, not user notifications.
We apply technical and organisational protection measures, though no system is 100% secure.
Passwords are stored as an irreversible hash; 2FA secrets and device tokens are stored in protected form.
The connection is always encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), with strict HSTS enabled.
Forms are protected against request forgery (CSRF); login and registration rate-limits apply — after many failed attempts access may be temporarily blocked.
Access to the internal admin area is restricted; video is served via signed links with a limited lifetime.
A few important notes about age and where data is located.
The site and the app are not intended for children under 13; if you are younger — do not create an account. If we discover such an account we will delete it.
Core data (database, avatars, media, captcha, email) is hosted on servers in Russia.
Content delivery networks (CDN) and YouTube may use servers in other countries to speed up video delivery.
